Dedicated
to proclaiming the Gospel of Christ

Jesus said, "You shall
know the
truth and the truth shall make you free" (John
8:32). Unfortunately, in this postmodern world we
live in,
many no longer believe there is any such thing as true Truth.
Many have come to the point that they believe truth is relative; that
each one makes their own truth. But the Truth that Jesus was
talking about is that which is true whether anyone believes it or
not. If what I believe and teach is different from that which
you
believe and teach, and you believe me to be in error, I will not
consider you my enemy for pointing out what you believe to be my
error. I've changed my point of view before, and, with God's
help, I can change again if I find I am wrong. If, on the
other
hand, you are looking to be obnoxious, abusive or insulting, please
keep your comments to yourself.
"Go therefore and
make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the
Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all
that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of
the age." (Matthew 28:19-20)
The early church
writers
recognized the Divine authorship of the Bible. Throughout the centuries
the Divine origin of the Bible has been given as the reason for it's
infallible truth. The human authors of the various books have been
called instruments of God and God has spoken through them.
"For I am not ashamed
of the
gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who
believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the
righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written,
'BUT THE RIGHTEOUS man SHALL LIVE BY FAITH.'" (Romans 1:16-17)
