"Mountain Of The Lord's House"
Isaiah 2:2-3; Micah 4:1-2

I. Does This Mean At Or Near The End Of The Earth?

A. Peter says Pentecost was in "the last days" - Acts 2:16-21

2. Can not mean near the end of time

II. What Is "The Lord's House"?

A. Church is Christ's House - 1 Tim 3:15

B. Christians, are Christ's house - Heb 3:l-6

1. Jailor's house believed - Acts 16:34

2. Means his family

C. "House of God" and Christians are the same people - 1 Pet 4:12-18

III. Was "The Mountain Of The Lord's House"; Not "The Lord's House" That Was To Be Established In The Tops Of The Mountains, Etc. - Isa 2; Micah 4

A. Seats of government in ancient times were built on hills or mountains for defensive reason - Psa 2:1-8; Isa 13:1-4

B. Daniel calls Christ’s kingdom "a stone cut out of the mountain without hands" and a great mountain that "filled the whole earth" - Dan 2:34-35; 44-45

1. Cut out without hands - Lk 17:20-21

2. Filled the earth - Mk 16:15; Col 1:21-23

C. Jesus Christ has been made Head of the church, or "the Lord’s house" - Eph 1:19-23

D. Acts 2 shows all these things are fulfilled literally

1. God’s mighty power made know to all - Col 2:14-15

2. When He ascended, was exalted at God’s right hand - Acts 2:33-36

3. Holy Spirit was then sent down - Jn 14:26; 16:7-15; Eph 3:1-5

4. Christ then began to reign as King, through His Gospel, preached with the Holy Spirit sent down from heaven; then He became Head of the church

IV. All Nations Shall Flow To It - Acts 2:5; 10; 15:14-18

V. "He Shall Teach Us Of His Ways, And We Will Walk In His Paths"

A. That Was Done On Pentecost - Acts 2

B. The Spirit Taught: They Obeyed

VI. "For Out Of Zion Shall Go Forth The Law, And The Word Of The Lord From Jerusalem" - Acts 1:6-8

A. History of apostolic work found in Acts
