8 1/2” x 11” Three Column Setup
1. Tracts are
designed with 1/2 inch margins on top, bottom, left, and right.
2. The space
between the columns is set at 1 inch. You can vary this a little
if you
need to in order to get a tract text to fit
the setup. Maybe try
0.75" between
columns.
3. You get two
tracts per sheet of paper when your master is set up as indicated
below. The lull tract is printed on one side of your master copy.
When you run the copies you turn the paper around before printing
the back side. After running the number of copies you want, cut the
pages in half, and fold.
4. The text pitch is generally at
12. titles at 18 -
24. and subtitles at 14 -16, but you
are at liberty to adjust the various fonts. pitches. and spacing to
accommodate your particular word processing program.

The space at the end of the tracts
varies. Some tracts will have room for your schedule of services and
other information that you might like to provide.
6.
I have found that to get everything to line up the way I want it to
when I run copies that sometimes, when I place the original on the
copier, I have to shift it around a little.
7. Always run a test copy or two to
be certain everything is lined up like you want it, and that your
local information is correct.
8. Use color paper.
